In
support of school-based music class enrollment. Campus Concerts presents
interactive chamber music performances that introduce students to the
joy of collaborative music making. Four, five, seven or nine musicians
( depending on the request made by each individual school), who specialize
in teaching as well as in performance, excite, challenge and involve students
in a upbeat format that stresses the joy of music appreciation as well
as performance. Presentations last from 30 to 50 minutes, depending upon
the age of the Collaboration: All of Campus

the Orchestra and Woodwind Quartet presentations are especially so. Students
are drawn into the performance experience with familiar music clips (
from Disney movies, cartoons, ect..) that Arts Integration: Although
the performances are primarily configured with music curriculum in mind,

The music ensemble includes flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and French horn. The program can be combined with a more sophisticated program for upper grades 4 through 8. Introduction to the Orchestra - Grades 3-5 & 6-8 This program demonstrates piccolo, alto and bass flutes, oboe and English horn, clarinet, saxophone or E flat clarinet, bassoon, trumpet and piccolo trumpet, horn and trombone. Fimiliar tunes used during the demonstration include themes from Peter and the Wolf," Snake Charmer," "Yankee Doodle", "The Jungle Book," William Tell Overture and "Star Wars." Woodwind Quartet - Grades 3-5 & 6-8 Our program
takes the listeners through the development of music from the Baroque
era to the early twentieth century. We combine historical and musical
information to accomplish a combination of instrumental selections, demonstrations
and discussions. Students participate throughout, and, as a finale we
